Fruitful day
Since yesterday had no school, i asked mr g a favour to bring me to have a look at the older Catholic Churches in Singapore. We went to churches and cathedral. But we didn't managed to go inside the cathedral because it was closed. The churches we went were "Church of Our Lady of Lourdes", "St Joseph's Church" and more. The one that i love most is St Joseph's Church. It is one of the biggest old churches in singpore which was built in 1851. The interior decor is very traditional and beautiful. It gives off the feeling of tranquil-ness and sacredness. What surprised us most was having the rare chance to have a conversation with a priest, Rev.Fr. Christophe. That was very very unexpected. He is in his 70s i supposed and he is a French who came to Singapore 44 years ago. Initially, we didn't know he is a priest until he chatted with us because he was dressed in buttoned shirt and pants. A very friendly and fatherly figure indeed. Know what? He had studied Sociology before! Just like me! =) Though he only studied for a year.
After the concversation, he went to play the organ while we were left alone to explore the church ourselves.
Till now...i still can't get over the experience i had there. It is indescribable...
Dinner at Sizzler Seafood and Steak Restaurant at SunTec.
Free flow salads, soups and ice cream with various toppings!
Mr g's black pepper steak.
My teriyaki steak with swiss cheese, mushrooms and crispy fried onions. It's salivating!
Greedy mr g... =p
