i wonder what some parents r doing nowadays, esp the younger ones. Today, i saw 2 separate incidents tt occurred in yishun when i was on my way to give tuition.
First, while i was walking across a field, there was this young malay couple strolling towards my direction. Both husband n wife were walking side by side, chatting n laughing at d same time. The husband was pushing a pram w a toddler sitting in it. After describing the above, i'm sure u guys wld think " wow, what a loving couple n a doting father." BUT this was not the case. The 'father' was SMOKING when he was so near to his baby k! n mind you, the smoke was so strong that i cld not even stand it from afar. What was worse was tt the 'mother' did not even find it as an issue, not to expect she wld forbid her husband to stop smoking in front of their 'child'. That poor kid...i just hope he wld not suffer from any health problems. I shld count myself lucky to have a smoke FREE family! =)

Second, I saw an extremely ridiculus n dangerous act being committed. Not by any other ppl but this particular chinese parents, i supposed both were in their late twenties or early thirties. Guess wat. This toddler ard the age of 3 was sandwiched in between his parents on a motorcycle!!! 'Father' the driver n 'mother' the passenger. It was really unbelivable. There was no safety measurement. What if there were a sudden brake? I really dun wan to see a 'superman' baby. Gosh....irresponsible....
