Another baking session with darling g today! It's really nice to have him around. Not only is he helpful, he is also very encouraging too. Heart him so much! =)

Proudly presents my apple pie cake. Although it's alright, there is still room for improvement. =) oh ya, i must also thank my mum for helping me to cut the cake because it was super challenging when all the topping threatened to fall apart with every cut.

Before the kbox session, i accompanied mr g for a temp-job interview in town in the morning. But when we reached the place, we were actually greeted with a paper sticking on the glass door. On it, it said " We are sorry to inform you that all vacancies are filled." Sian...

At around 1.30pm i went off to meet jiahui and cc at Cineleisure for Kbox-ing.
Although i have been k-boxing for the past 4 years, yesterday was the first time i sang with my secondary school buddies! It was definitely enjoyable. We sang, we danced and we screamed! hahaz. 5 hours of that could be very physcially demanding. LoL.



After that, i met up with dear g, together with david and meng teng again for dinner at Chinatown.

Another baking session of the month, but with mr dearest g this time. I went to bake at his house because my home oven is not in an usable condition. However, this time round i used a different recipe given by my mum.
It actually turned out quite good and i'm extremely proud of myself! Mr g knew it all as i was jumping away when i saw my finished product. Spongy and soft in the inside, whereas crispy on the outside. He even ate 2 muffins only within a few hours. haha. Of course, i must not forget to thank him for being such a great help in the kitchen. =) Love him to bits!


More baking to come! yeah.

Only van and I went to ang mo kio KBox last Sunday because the rest were not free to go. We went there only to find out they did not have any more regular sized rooms for us so they gave us the VIP room. It was really a blessing in disguise loh!

On Saturday, our clique except agnes met up for a game of badminton. The weather was super hot and the sun was glaring, hence the outdoor court made it worse. We were perspiring "cats and dogs". hahaz.

At around 6.30pm, we went to kfc for dinner.

Last Friday, we (ching, sengkeat, seet, loong ee and me) went to van's house for our muffins baking session. All the girls helped out with the baking, whereas sengkeat was the camera men for the day. Here are the pictures taken.

After the baking and mahjiong session, i went off to meet mr g for dinner while the rest stayed on. Baking muffins is easier than i thought and they turned out to be tasty too! Good job girls! hehe..

Some facial mask my mum made. She mixed green bean powder, milk powder and honey. Then water was added to create a paste-like texture for easy application. It is said to give your complexion a smoother and fairer surface. Well, i don't know about that but i think it's more like "diarrhoea" being smeared across my entire face. hahahaa.. and i looked SCARY!

Actually was supposed to meet up with Van, Andy, qb and jiyong for k-boxing session at night but was called off in the morning. It was my part to be blamed since i didnt check out the price before organising this. Only after jiyong sms me about the price then i knew how expensive it was. $37 per person! So expensive man! After discussing with van, we decided not to go. Ultimately, it was cancelled and would be re-scheduled again. Im very sorry guys...

I was feeling sian when i couldn't sing K, then mr g sms me! Saying he was going to JB with david and asked me whether i wanted to join them. I was interested so i asked my mum for permission. To my surpised, she allowed without much persuation. =) I haven been to JB for a long long time and i was excited. We went in the afternoon and came back around evening. One thing i must say is...the air quality in JB is bad because im suffering from pimples now. Not only me, mr g too. hahaz.

Esther, Ching, Van and me met up with seng keat to celecbrate his very belated birthday. We went to Shokodu Japanese Food Bazaar at Raffles City Shopping Centre. My first time there though.

Went clubbing with mr g and his friends (david, mervin & gf, zunzin & a female friend) at ZOUK. That was my first time there and also first time attending Lady's Night. Like its name, ladies have free entry. Sounds attractive right? BUT...a big BUT...there is no complementary free drinks for females, so we have to pay additional to purchase alcoholic beverages. In the end, females actually don't really "tan tio" unless they go with their guy friends and share drink coupons. Because this was what we did; we shared coupons. haha.

Mambo musics are played on every wednesday night. This is the song choice i preferred rather than trance; easier to dance to the beats.

A shocking news was presented to my eyes after reading an email sent by the Student Affairs. Miss Tay Xin Yu, a student-teacher from NIE, diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2006 has passed away on 28th April 2008 at 1.15pm at Singapore General Hospital. Though she was only a stranger to me, my heart couldn't help feeling sorrow towards her and her family. She was so young and have a bright future as a teacher. Yet she had to bear this misforture. Gone is the dead and those who are left behind have to grief for the lost of their love ones.


I remembered some of my friends (Ching, esther, long ee and my bf) and I participated in a bone marrow donation drive on 12th March, organised by the student body. It was really very unexpected because i believe there might be a chance for her since many people are willing to give a try for the drive. Perhaps, she could find a suitable marrow. But sometimes, when your time is up in this world, there is nothing you could do. That is fate, you might call it. Life is so fragile and unpredictable. Humans are so helpless in the face of life, so many things are beyond our control. All i have to say is - we must learn how to cherish the present and the people around us because we never know when any of us might leave this mortal world...


Rest in peace to the deceased and my deeply condolence to her family members.

My blog is officially 4 years old! Which means i have been blogging for a freaky 4 years! Time really speeds like a rocket man...

A change of blogskin was made because i think the colour of my previous layout was too red and striking for me after a while. So i change to this new blogskin with pastel colours. Very soft and soothing to the eyes; at least to me. Most importantly it is simple and sweet! haha. I love this new look of my blog! =)
