    yay! exams is over!

woo hooo! exams had already ended for us! We have survived this semester! *a pat on our shoulders*

Straight after our last paper, esther, ching, van, seng keat and me went to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe for lunch. At around 2.35pm, we proceeded to watch the movie "Enchanted". Quite a nice movie whereby they incorporate different fairytales into one...comical yet romantic. =) i will give it a 3/5.

Meet mr g after the movie while the rest went off to shop around. Due to the rain, mr g and i walked around cineleisure until the rain stops. We strolled down orchard road until he was very hungry so we settled down at genki japanese restaurant at Forum. The restaurant was rather empty and th waitress were super slacked! haha... It's a good place to have dinner if you want to avoid the crowd. Can't wait for mr g's exams to be over! =)

    Happy 2nd month!

Happy 2nd month my dear mr g ...

Time really flies...it's only like yesterday since we met. Although 2 months is not long, i enjoyed every moment being with you. I really hope there would be never ending months ahead that we could create our memories together. And everytime we look back, it would be something precious for us to treasure and learn as we grow together in this relationship. Life is so short and unpredictable... This phrase came to be even more heartfelt especially after what had happened recently about the dragon boat mishap. Five competitors just drowned so suddently when they were making their way back to the shore. No one had expected that. A competition turned to be a funeral instead... It's sure saddening and devasting for their loved ones.
Like i said, life is so short, hence we should cherish the people we love.. I would never know of the day i might vanish from this realm...
So from now onwards, i want to give all the love i have to people i love. I know i am putting myself at risk of getting hurt, but i would rather get hurt rather than leaving this earth someday with regrets for not loving enough... at least i am able to share my love without holding back and i could proudly tell myself i have already live my life to the fullest by treasuring and giving my love to people i dear.

mr g, your are the missing jigsaw puzzle of my life and i have found you to be kept as a treasure... =)

    thoughts...

    whenever you hold my hands
    the warmth you give
insulate me in the midst of cold
i just want to be close
to absorb all the love from you

my life is beautiful with you around
even the aurora could not compare
because you are my magician in this life time
    who brings magic to me

    your presence is a comfort
    especially in times of despair
never fails to save me from the raging sea
and pacifies me with your adoring stare

    i can't imagine if we didn't meet
    or never got together
    due to some unforeseeable circumstances
    how would our lives be?
guess there wouldn't be any changes
you would be living your life
    i would be living mine

    for some things,
    once you missed it
    you'll lose it for eternity

i'm blessed to have met you
    more so,
to be part of your life
and i'm really thankful for that
    really...

I got tagged by jiahui ! S0 below is my response. hahaz...

so here's my 8 points about my perfect partner.

    1. Love me for who I am

If he did falls in love with me, it is the real me he is in love with. If he could not love me for who i am, then i guess he is not for me.

    2. Expressive

Honestly, i'm quite an insecure person at times, hence i need somebody who would reassure his love for me every now and then. =)

    3. Sparkles in the eyes

To tell if someone is really in love with me, the sparkles in his eyes would not lie...

    4. Thick lips

So they are kissable...hahaz.. well well, my mum told me guys with thick lips are more sentimental, less tendency to be heartless...
( i don't know how true is that but i do hope it's real. lol... )

    5. Family oriented

He needs to learn how to love his family first before he could have the abilities to love me. Because family is the most precious gift i can ever have...

    6. Responsible

my man should know how to carry responsibilities because it is crucial for managing a family with me.

    7. Able to communicate effectively with me

This is the fundamental aspect for a healthy relationship. At least unnecessary misunderstandings could be prevented.

    8. Respect me

Personally, i regard respect as the basis of interaction for kinship, friendship, partnership and nonetheless - for relationship as well.. If someone could not even respect the ppl he/she loves, he/she do not have the right to enter a relationship as he/she would most definitely end up hurting the other party. Then what's the point, right?

d reason behind the ring finger...sweet~

I had received an email from one of my friends and i find it really sweet, so i decided to share with u peps! =)

This is cute. Try it out .

Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger? There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese.....

    Thumb represents your Parents

Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings

    Middle finger represents your-Self

Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner

Last (Little) finger represents your children

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip(As shown in the figure below):

Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later. Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)...., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)...., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.
Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT....., because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!
    Please try this out.............

    ISN'T THIS A LOVELY THEORY?

    Lyric: I'm lost (original)

    Lyric: I'm lost (original)

    canopy flourishes throughout the rainforest
    blocking any sunlight available
    darkness falls even in daylight
i've tried shouting, screaming and crying
    no response, nothing at all
    silence is being received
i am alone as can be

    i'm lost, i'm seriously lost
    mama, where are you?
please don't leave me alone in the wild
i'll promise to be a good girl
never to cry and to be strong
    but now
i need your strength and courage to carry me through

Birds are not chirping, bees are not buzzing
possibly this is what hell on earth means
coldness rapidly seeps through my skin
i keep on shivering, fidgeting and wondering
this a dream, nightmare that's all
    denial is what i own
i am alone as can be

    i'm lost, i'm hopelessly lost
    mama, where are you?
Are you as anxious to look for me too
    i'm very sure you do
right here waiting and be still
    for now
i'll wait for your comforting voice to echo through

PS: imaginative story about a little deer getting lost in the forest, trying to look for her mama and also the state of emotions she was going through.
(just feel like writing something to de-stress from mugging.. hahaz.)

    lovely earings

    I totally heart my mr g! =)
He's really sweet... and this was d little surprise he gave me - snowflake earings. He secretly got it yesterday when i just simply mentioned that the design was nice about 2-3 days back. Being very secretive, he hid it in my pouch which i only found it today while i was digging for tissue paper. That was so unexpected and what was so amazing was i suspected nothing. totally nothing at all. See how good mr g is at keeping secret. hahaz...
Just want to say...im very touched about all the things you have done for me, including the little ones... Really love d earings alot! thank you so much my dear..

PS: mr g, more was written in my letter for you and you wld be receiving it soon. Love you.. =)
[ Hope im not too mushy for this entry =X ]

    prata day

I had craving for mushroom cheese prata for days and i finally had it satisfied yesterday. Initially, my dear mr g and i decided to patronize "The Prata Place" at Springleaf Garden (near seletar reservoir), but who knows, the stall was closed for Deevapali! Digressing a little, we noticed they spelt Deepavali as 'DeepaWali' on the piece of notice. For a moment i thought my eyes played a trick on me or maybe i had been learning the wrong word all along. Or perhaps, as according to mr g, they spelt according to the way they pronounced it. Which i think it is quite logical since they would tend to roll their tougues when they speak in tamil. Back track...back track...as i was saying, i was already 1/2 sian when i saw the stall was closed. It was like a stone was thrown right onto my face. haha.. Thanks my mr g for being so sweet and understanding. =) Because he knew that i was having my pms craving, so we headed on to upper thomson for more pratas! teng teng teng~ proudly present "The Roti Prata House"!

We settled down with mushroom cheese prata for me and Chicken bryani for him, plus teh bing (tea with ice) for each of us. I tell you, mushroom and cheese are simply the perfect match! They taste so heavenly together! The melted cheese within the prata coated nicely around the sliced button mushrooms and the prata was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside...Dip it in curry and let it stimulates your taste buds...The only word that could best describe the way it taste, would be... SHIOK! A must try prata!

Mr g's bryani came with a big piece of chicken, even he said that too. The rice was fragrant and well cooked. Grains of rice were defined and not lumped together or soggy like some other brani the other stalls cook. They were done just nice. As for the chicken, it came together with a sweet based curry gravy. Best suited for people who wanted to have a mixture of all spiciness, savoury and sweetness in a meal. =) nice.

PS: Ching and van, the pictures i took as promised. hahaz. Ching arh...don't concuss again hor. =p LOL.

    The appearance of the stall.

my mushroom cheese prata! im sure van would love this. hahaz.

    mr g's Chicken bryani.

    Now you see it...

    Now you don't...

After dinner, mr g and i discussed alot about some controversial issues which to me, was really an eye opener. Sometimes it is really nice to talk about heavy topics that could intrigue your mind and your flow of thoughts. It can be fascinating to know what others' perspectives to at least understand what is actually happening around us (i haven't even mention about the whole world yet) because we are not just living in our 'own' little perfect world. But we are living in a society that was made up of infinite unique individuals.

    Kill boredom...

These pictures were actually taken on thursday. The day i met mr g for dinner at adam road. Actually before that, i went to my sis school with my mum to collect her report book. While waiting for my sis's call, i was bored so i took out my camera and snapped some pictures to kill my boredom. hahaz...As usual, my mum gladly participated in this little short ''photo-taking session'' ! LOL...

Mum and I. I totally heart her! =)

My mum loves the camera too! hahaz...

    dinner at adam road

Gosh..i think wei ching is going to "kill" me after seeing this entry...because...im tempting her with food again! hahaz.. Mr g said that sooner or later my blog will become a food blog. hahaz..

Had dinner with my mr g just now. We went to adam road food centre to have the famous prawn noodles and they lived up to the title. If you want to try it some day, opt for the dry version. Their chilli is the secret weapon which gives the tasty savoury flavour for the dish! Definitely worth a try. =) But unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture of the prawn noodles, which was such a waste. Nevermind, there will still be opportunities next time.

After dinner, we strolled around that area for a while before settling down at a cozy and pretty little ice cream shop at crown centre if i'm not wrong...They also sell pasteries and coffee too. The pictures are right below.

Swirl Gelatoria ice cream shop at Crown Centre.

Front view of the ice-cream shop.

    The interior...very nice and cozy.

The ice cream we had. Peanut butter swirl and blueberry! i like the peanut butter one but my heart still goes to the D24 ice cream mr g and i had at valley-point shopping centre! yum yum...!

opps...caught on camera when i was pigging out at the ice cream. haha..

mr g was trying hard NOT to look greedy by having such a small scoop of ice cream when he was posing for the camera...LOL. =p

both of us love this pic! look at mr g's expression...so ke lian...like as if i snatched all the ice cream from him (which i didn't hor...we shared...). hahahaz...

    us!

PS: mr g, it is just so wonderful to have you around...and i mean it. =)
